Land of Kimchi Day 3B

Goo-am Farm Experience

Went tomatoes plucking on a old style tractor ride, reminds me of those old trucks/bus in kampong days where some had to stand around while others sit. Pretty rocky gravel ground, but cool experience

Where are we going? Hot hot hot in the green house area...

Tomato's time! Eat as many as you want again! But so so full after lunch! Pluck pluck pluck

Rice making time! It's similar to the Japanese rice where you had to hit it repeatedly, and I tell you the Ahjumas are strong!

Jeju Island

Transit to Jeju island via domestic flight! Seriously, it's about 2.5 times bigger than Singapore, so it's not an island island! Known as "Island of the Gods," it is a top honeymoon destinations for Korean newlyweds. The island's mixture of volcanic rock, frequent rains, and temperate climate.

Our first Jeju meal! Made up of geogeous seafood, which Jeju is famed for.

And an unfortunate guest.....

The poor chap had its tentacles cut off right there for hungry people wanting to grab a taste of raw tentacles, korean style Sannakji dish. The active suction cups of the nakji octopus must be thoroughly chewed before swallowing, or the suction cup can stick to the throat.

Saw it on Amazing Race once, and I must say the appeal did not draw me anywhere close except to take a photo. However, all the handsome and daring men all took a quick bite! And the helpful and enthusiastic Ahjuma helped to severed the wriggling tentacles with a scissors.
