Dessert time!

It's time for traditional Asia Desssert!

Mei Heong Yuen Dessert 味香园

Located next to Lucky Chinatown (which houses MacDonalds and Kbox), it's hard to miss.
And you will find the place packed with patrons, so be patient and hang around to grab the any available empty seats.

Famed for it's Mango snow ice ($5)
It's huge!!! Sharing it would make it taste sweeter =)

Chendol Snow Ice
Mango still trumps!

Mango with Pomelo and Sago
Thick mango milk, sweet too

Gui lin gao (Herbal Jelly)
Rumours have it that it is made from turtle shell, but that's not true!
It's slightly bitter though, hence the sweet syrup that usually accompanies it.

Our assortment includes (clockwise from top left): Peanut paste, Mango with Pomelo and Sago, Milk Pudding,  Gui lin gao (Herbal Jelly) and Almond Paste

I tried Milk Pudding for the first time, but the big bowl of milk in solid form was too much for my taste buds. Would love to share the Mango Snow Ice next time!

It closes at 10pm, and last order is about 9.30pm.
