Skinny Pizza @Raffles City

Time for food!
PL and I headed to Skinny Pizza before our event.
Since it was my first visit, I was looking forward to some hot, finger-licking pizza.

Since this was on promotion, we decided to try this Pizza Pop Bento Set -
consisting of a Pizza Pop, Soup, Wine, Dessert.

This is how it came - everything served together on a tray.
Pretty efficient and impressive, because the pop really looked very big.
We were really afraid we can't finish it.

But, it's an illusion! The inside is just contained air.
I'm no cook, so it's impressive how they baked the crust till this round shape with a hollow center.
The ingredients covered on top were the usual flavours of the pizzas.
For Pizza, we ordered Ginger Butter Chicken & All-Day Breakfast.
(which you can't really tell with the vegetable coverings.)

How to eat it is a bigger question. Haha.
You'll have to poke a hole in the crust with some strength,
(Warning: watch out for flying matters)
Then let the ingredients fall into the hole, so that it's easier to eat.
You might wanna try eating the crust with your hands after breaking into sizable pieces.
Wanted to take a photo, but it looked really messy.

The Pop Pizza was unfortunately lukewarm.
The crispy crust tasted like cookie biscuits, which was nice.
But I think it was baked way earlier, hence the lack of heat.
The lukewarm ingredients that were topped onto of the crust were just that.
So the entire eating experience was like eating different types of food at the same time.
I like my food warm, so....

There's a choice of 3 types of soup. I ordered mushroom soup.
Full of ingredient but watery and somewhat tasteless.

Instead of wine, we chose to have apple cider instead, which was a refreshing change.

The mini chocolate cake served in a tin was nice and moist enough. This was the best finale of the meal.

They have multiple outlets, and this was the Raffles City branch.
I hope to try their pizza next time and be impressed by it.
DBS/POSB card holders enjoy 15% off voucher.

Till next time then.
Hopefully, it will be a better review.
