Hokkaido Ramen Santouka
Hokkaido Ramen Santouka (Singapore) originated in Hokkaido as the name suggested and has 2 branches in Singapore. Whilst I'm waiting for the chance to go Hokkaido for the locality food review, let's settle for the one in Singapore first.
We visited the shop at Cuppage (you will see it immediately when you walk down the road between OG Orchard and The Centerpoint). They do not allow reservations, and all diners must be present before you're to be seated. The Cuppage shop's queue usually starts after 7pm, while the Central shop's queue start early 6.30pm, so go early!
The Gyozas are really really nice! Must try.
They don't offer ginger and vinegar the way the Chinese do, but it's nice as it is.

The Shio Ramen.
The broth is thick and the noodles are just awesome succulent!
The spicy Miso broth. A little spicy. Nice, but I prefer the Shio broth.
Order the normal ramen broth with Tokusen Toroniku.
It's pork cheeks (jowls).
Very tender meat that tastes like a cross between fats and meat.
Apparently very rare as only 200-300g can be taken from each pig.
It might only be a platter of 8 slices, but eating too much of it can be rather overwhelming.

Oooo, I love ramen eggs,
and they have nice ones there!
Look at the cute little dishes!
And that completes our very filling meal!
Happy claps from Megan!
She just finished singing her ABC song, and is totally elated about it!
There's an ongoing promotion for being a Santouka's mobile member:

They present the little kids with their own cutlery and fruit juice. How sweet!
Ambience:
You don't want to dally over a meal here, as the queue can be long
Would I go back again? Maybe after some long while,
as the rich taste of everything makes me feel a tad queasy.

We had dessert too.
Courtsey of Jacqui's kitchen! Yum yum!
Chocolate cream cheese mousse
Glutinous rice filling.. wow!
Here's the pretty chef! She took leave and baked for us! How nice!
I know she's going to make me fat, but still, who can resist her goodies?
Haha
We had drinks later at Smoothie King, there after.
It's berry nice, not overly sweet (usually fruit stalls like to add sweeteners to them)
Best of all, for the health conscious, they list down the calories involved.
