新年快乐！！！

After a really fulfilling renuion dinner, we went river hongbao! Forgot to bring my cam, so had to settle for wobbly pictures on my hp, in the light drizzle... which became a windy downpour! Everyone was running for shelter, so fun! Some people even took the huge beach umbrella from its placeholder and squeeze 10 ppl under it..! Hilarious fun!

Saw our zodiaz signs there with good forecast for the year =))) And other nice dragons and trees



And we stood watching the fireworks (that came on 7 min b4 midnight, and had everyone scrambling out into the rain to see it.. so fun!) in the heavy downpour. Fireworks in the rain... how romantic =)

Then it was a last minute squeeze at Chinatown. It was way way exhilrating and crazy with the packed crowd. A must-go if you wanna feel the CNY mood which is fast disappearing from the heartlands!
